My bookshelf speakers can go down to 51Hz and my sub can go up to 150Hz. I have the speakers crossover set at 80hz and the sub at 100Hz. Is this a good thing to have that 20Hz overlap? Or would I get a better sound by setting both at the same level? i.e. 80Hz or 100Hz. Which would be the best set-up?
Thanks,

I think you'd be better off with them set at the same level, so it has a definite crossover and you aren't getting too much bass at the overlapping frequencies.
