My old wharfedales make my (sold) tannoys have a run for their money.
I sold my recently bought sensys dc1s and went back to my diamond 8.1s due to space and money reasons. The thing is i much prefer my diamonds. THe soundstage is far better and the midrange owns the tannoys. The sound is far far more engaging.
