New member Username: Trishjones05Post Number: 1 Registered: Apr-07 | ok so i have a record player but i have no idea if it actually works mostly because i have never used it or any other one in my life. but it is a kenwood hooked into a kenwood stereo and when i turn the stereo on the sound is working, but when i put the needle on the record it doesn`t turn at all unless i push it and then it sounds like the chipmunks on helium which is not good. is my record player broken or am i just doing something totally wrong oh and i also can`t find the on button, if there is suppose to be one, i dunno? if someone could help me that would be great! |

If that's the case, the belt is probably on the wrong portion of the motor spindle which would cause the speed problem. The belt might also be worn and stretched in which case replacement would be called for. |
