Wednesday, March 21, 2007 - 18:29 GMT Shane Both brands have their advocates and both have their critics. As you say, the specifications for both of the top-flight receivers read very well. Then again, there's more than one way to skin a cat so they will sound different. Regards, Frank.

Thursday, March 22, 2007 - 15:08 GMT In general, IMHO, they are about on par. You really can't go wrong with either. I have both Denon and Yamaha equipment and am pleased with both.

Friday, March 23, 2007 - 02:28 GMT That is a stupid assessment and a really bad sweeping generalization.

Tuesday, March 27, 2007 - 02:19 GMT If the product from China right now is any indication, the product from there will bury all competition within the next 5 years, hands down. If you buy the right stuff, same as always. It's even better if you don't have to live there, and ignore trade imbalances and patents.
