Silver Member Username: Tc_skierPost Number: 147 Registered: Oct-06 | I've been looking at some HK's such as the 245 and 340. What other models (from different brands) should I look at? The front speakers are Wharfedale 9.2's. Unsure about rears and centers right now. Needs to be $400 or less. Thanks. |

Their refurbished stuff is basically brand new. It will astonish you with great sound. Trust me on this. Check it out. |

I purchased this receiver without ever hearing it because I heard similar HK receivers in the past and liked the sound they produced. Keep in mind that when it comes to a receiver what sounds good to me may not sound good to you. The best advice that can be offered is to listen to a receiver before you purchase it, preferably with your speakers. Mike Arbia |

Silver Member Username: Uback007Columbus , Ohio USA Post Number: 225 Registered: Mar-06 | I saw the NAD at $419.00 on closeout at https://dmc-electronics.com/Default.htm You cannot beat that price for such an amazing sounding unit. This would be a done deal if I were in the market for a receiver on a limited budget. |

Silver Member Username: Uback007Columbus , Ohio USA Post Number: 228 Registered: Mar-06 | no way. Maybe the 635 or the higher priced stuff from them against the 743, but I would put the 754, 763, 773 up against their entire line (less the Mark Levinson stuff) any day. And I believe their are a lot of people on this forum that would agree. I'm not naming names!! Happy EASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
