I am considering connecting a sub to my NAD C320BEE amp but it doesn't have a sub output. Can the sub be connected in parallel with the speakers? The reason I think I need a sub is that the acoustic energy evo one speakers make a puck sound with bass even before half volume, they are rated at 100 watts with the amp being only 50 Watts. Do u think a sub would be the solution?

If your buy a sub that has speaker level inputs and a passive cross-over on those inputs, you will be able to drive the sub correctly and elliminate the "puck" sound.
