Hook sub to older stereo

I'm sure this has been asked before. My stereo doesn't have sub jacks just 2 sets (A & B) of regular speaker jacks. Is there a way to hook a sub up to this? The stereo is a JVC RX-778V which is about 7-8 years old. Thanks for your help.

If you are using a powered sub, you can connect the speaker outputs of the receiver to the sub's high level input. Usually connected via spring clips.
