Friday, February 02, 2007 - 13:41 GMT You really have to pick a model for comparison, Tommy. The Rti8's and 12's are very different animals. Pricing is important, too. Pick a Polk model that compares to, say, Paradigm Studio20v3, @700$ or so. Pick a peck of Polks.

Friday, February 02, 2007 - 14:05 GMT They've got a lot of products to choose from, some of which aren't particularly great, and some of which are very respectable. I'd say their LSi line is relatively competitive in its price bracket, and is in the same ballpark as the Paradigm Studio line for example.

Monday, February 12, 2007 - 23:44 GMT the monitor series and below are horrid IMHO, the Rti series is generally good, the LSi series are quality speakers. That is my rundown on polk audio in a nutshell

Thursday, March 01, 2007 - 14:07 GMT The only Polk I have ever owned is the PSW-10 subwoofer, and I have been generally been quite happy with the quality and sound. Had it for 2 years now with daily usage and not a single problem.
