New member Username: FreestylepsychoPost Number: 4 Registered: Dec-06 | Hi, I am thinking about getting an NAD 3130 integrated amp, and I was just wondering anyone knows if you can attach a power amp via the preout as well as using the binding posts on the NAD 3130 to run a separate set of speakers at the same time as the ones on the power amp, therefore having 2 sets of speakers running off 2 amps. |

See an example here: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=240-129 Your NAD has a set of pre-outs which are female RCA type jacks. Likewise, the "amp-ins" are also female RCA type jacks. You need the "Y" adapter so that the signal coming out of the pre-outs are run to both the 3130's amp-ins and the inputs on the remote amp.
