I liked them even though the bass was a little muddy.

Nate didn't you say those were arriving soon at your house? Are you going to keep the JBL's or replace them with these?

They seemed OK to me.
Keep them away from corners.
And the rear wall.

While I hate to argue with Nuck, mine are about a foot away from the wall (and one in a corner) and I love them. No regrets at all except maybe since I have a subwoofer I only needed the 6's. However, I have no issues with the base both reinforced or not either, but maybe I am easy to please...

MC, don't hate to argue with my 2c, that's what makes this thing work!
If you only needed the 6's with a good sub, were thay just too good a deal to turn down?

I liked the Rti10's for their transiants.
A very smooth transition for the mid/high's.
The muddy bass was the reason for my speaker positioning suggestion.
