There is a setting on my H/K that simulates the center and surrounds but i would like to have the speakers there. any suggestions on what and where to look?

Most who have read the manual are more specific about their queries, i.e., the set-up is complete, but...(insert query here), the center channel is not working, there are no sounds coming out of the rear speakers, etc. "There is a setting on my H/K that simulates the center and surrounds but i would like to have the speakers there. any suggestions on what and where to look"...When you wrote that you would like to have the speakers there, suggests that you have not set-up the speakers as of yet. Do you have center and surround speakers yet? Then you stated..."of course i would only be running 5.1"...indicating you probably have not set anything up and not yet read the manual. Be specific with the help you need, so you can get started right away and you can enjoy your new toys

Surrounds some people tend to be a bit more lax on, but I would still suggest going with a pair of Atoms or the Paradigm surrounds to maintain a good timbre match all around.
