Bronze Member Username: Rock_hardPost Number: 36 Registered: Sep-06 | I'm not new to the whole audio/home theater scene but i'm new to amplifiers! right now i have a HK 330 receiver, but i'm going to be building fairly large DIY speakers and wondered if its gonna be underpowered. I see on the back of the receiver it has preouts...does that mean i can use it as a preamp? next..i used to work at a theater and saw they used QSC and Crown amps so i started to search for them...found a few good deals. what are these amps like? |

QSC and Crown amps are great professional amps. Works great for demanding environments but a little harsh for home use. I wouldn't rule them out. |

Bronze Member Username: Rock_hardPost Number: 38 Registered: Sep-06 | Well i really don't have a budget as of yet..this just kinda popped in my head lastnight! I found a couple on ebay for around the $250 range...i know that's very little for an amp but that's what sparked my interest. |
