Harman Kardon AVR-245 or Onkyo TXSR604 They seem very similar, I'm looking for HDMI and Zone 2. Or am I missing another better receiver for the same price? Ciruit City has the Onkyo at 395 with tax until midnight tonight (tomorrow's ad says $499!) Thanks Guys. |

New member Username: ThieveryfanPost Number: 4 Registered: Dec-06 | Well, I bought the Onkyo, the good deal made me jump and I like the back layout - I think the 2nd and 3rd zones are better in the Onkyo too. I hope it sounds good with my Mirage Omnisats (haven't heard them yet). I'm putting it inside a cabinet, any suggestions on how big a fan I should build into this piece of furniture - diameter, CFM? Also, a simple IR bridge that I can take a long run wire and attach it to the back of the receiver? Thanks for the help again - what's Nuck** One** Like** Takes** mean???? ha |

Silver Member Username: GamerdudeOntario Canada Post Number: 337 Registered: Apr-06 | H/K-30 lb (13.6kg)//65W idle, 540W maximum (7 channels driven) Onkyo-25.1 lbs/// i couldnt find any info on the onkyo for power consumption |
