510ReceiverGuy | Have a gift card to Best Buy, and looking to buy new receiver for growing home theater. Mostly for playing DVD's, already have large front speakers with 12-inch subwoofers. Looking to spend $200-300. Any advice based on the receivers that Best Buy has to offer? Based simply on Sony, Pioneer, Kenwood, Yamaha? Derek | Look to Kenwood and Pioneer from Best Buy. Pioneer sells a DD 5.1 receiver for $150 on sale sometimes. You could hit the DVD section with the rest. |
