My previous budget to buy an amp for my speakers was £200. Now its about £320-£350. This made me realise-tube amp? These things are highly rated but Ive never heard one, infact never had a decent amp of any kind. My speakers are the wharfedale diamond 8.1s which I really adore. Subwoofer may be added sometime. So..I was looking at jolida for a hybrid tube amp, the 1301 and 1701. Any suggestions and ideas or am i better sticking to solid state-my souce is from my computer through an emu-0404 soundcard. p.s. music taste-metal and rock primarily, bit of jazz and odd bit of techno & trance Thanks in advance.
