I know you all are very helpful so I am asking for your advice. I am going to order port tubes for my new sub box and I want to make sure it will sound ok. I have 2 x 10" dayton subs at around 200W a piece. The 2 sealed boxes I have them in now are ideal for the sub, but the f3 is like 72hz and thats crazy too high for me. I use these subs mostly for movies, but do listen to music often. Im making the box this shape so I can fit my 6½ infinitys on top and make the sub boxes into speaker stands.
Here are the specs of the box I am going to make for them with help from WinISP.
1.75 cft total volume 34.33 Fb 31.32 F3 port size 3in dia x 7in long 8½" x 11½" x 32.75"
Also I would like some advice on where to put the port? Should I point it at me when I am listening to it or to the left/right of speaker?
