I intend to get a a new Rega P3 (actually Premotec) motor for my Manticore Mantra turntable. Both use Premotec ac motors.
The new Rega/Premotec motor looks the same as the one on my Manticore except that the SPINDLE that the belt goes on is SMALLER.
CRUNCH: I'm UNSURE if the THORENS DRIVE BELT I use WILL FIT on the Rega or whether a Rega belt would be suitable.
P.s bottom part of motor sags a bit i.e ideally should be glued back in place (tried not much luck).
MUSIC SOUNDS FINE.

IIRC the Thorens belt is a flat belt. Rega use round belts only. Applicability of the rega belt depends on the diameter of the Thorens sub-platter, it would have to be the same as that of the Rega.
Regards,
Frank.
