New member Username: S8taxattyPost Number: 1 Registered: Aug-06 | I want to upgrade my speakers and am thinking about Polk LSi25. I have a Denon AVR 3802 (110w per channel at 8ohms). Any thoughts and advice? Also, besides the risk, any downside of buying new on E-Bay? |

Usually amps with those characteristics tend to be more expensive. If you have a two channel set up in mind, I would look into something like this to drive those speakers: http://www.hipposaudiovideo.com/pages/1/nadc372.htm Good luck |

I have a Mirage center that I got used of E-Bay, two Mirage surrounds and a low end Mirage sub. Are you still concerned the Denon isn't powerful enough? |

On the other hand how about these from Audiogon: These are awesome, I heard them a while back with "Advantage" Electronics (Swedish Made) and sounded wonderful. They seem to be in good condition and are rated a 6 ohms nominal, this way you can upgrade and keep the same brand all around. Just another option. |
