| I'm trying to put together an entry system for home theatre but I also plan to play a decent amount of CD's. Which one of the recievers will give better sound quality for both movies and music. As far as speakers go, I'm looking at JBL SCS150 or acounstic research hc6 or Onkyo SKS-HT500. Any input as to which of these would fit best? Thanks |
dev | how about the onkyo tx-sr500? |
Anonymous | Just bought the Integra 6.3 receiver and integra 5.3 dvd/cd changer, am very happy with them...For surround sound look into the RBH compact series, small size, big sound |
dev | rbh is a little more expensive than i want to spend. how about the energy take 5 plus 1? |
Anonymous | actually i was planning to buy Take 5, but RBH were similarly priced...700 for Take 5, 760 for RBH...including sub |
dev | where'd you find the rbh's at that price? i keep seeing them for aroung $1099 on the net. also i've found the take 5+1 for 485 and the 5.2 + sub for 640? what do you think about the recievers? |
Anonymous | Dev, the cheapest i saw the Energy Take 5.2 plus sub was 640 bucks...I paid for RBH MM-4 168 per pair,130 for c-4 center channel, and 300 for MS-8.1 sub...i also bought the Integra DTR 6.3 for my receiver and the Integra DPC 5.3 dvd/cd changer.... |
