But I would not get Harman kardon speakers. They make great receivers but I don't think their speakers are their strong suit. They sound muffled and really lacks good detail.

A better bet would be the Pioneer VSX 816. The Panasonic has received rave reviews, it just wasn't my cup o' tea. You'd probably like it.

Of course, Onkyo, being Onkyo, never puts in a large enough power supply to drive a full 5.1 system, so it is no better. Go with the Panny between those two.

Between the Micras and Point 5s, the P-5s are definitely better.

Main downside is that they are not shielded so don't put them right next to your TV if it's a CRT.
