I am looking at replacing my NAD PP-2 with a slightly better product, and came across the Korora phon preamp made by Firestone. http://www.firestoneaudio.com.au/products/products/phono.html It can be run AC or DC to decrease noise, so wondering if anyone else has tried it. I was thinking of this vs. the XLPsV3 or the Gram Amp 2SE? Appreciate any commments. |

It's a stunning little unit with a real wallop. It also has a special setting called the DRT setting which seems to take advantage of cartridges in a different way rather than their loading, but this is unique to MC cartridges. For more info, have a look at: http://www.dynavector.com/products/amp/e_p75.html Regards, Frank. |
