Friday, August 04, 2006 - 08:58 GMT How do I hook up speakers and yamaha stereo amp(with no sub-out) to an active subwoofer using high level input and low level outputs but bi-wire the speakers. Would this mean I have to connect the wires from just the LF terminals on the speakers to the subwoofer. Or both LF and HF terminals on speakers to subwoofer.

Saturday, August 05, 2006 - 02:29 GMT What kind of sub is it? If it has high level inputs, it usually comes with speaker outputs as well. This would mean you have to connect the speaker output of the receiver into the high level input of the subwoofer. You then use the outputs of the subwoofer and connect it to the speakers. You could also use the REC OUT jacks of the amp (if it has any) to the low level input of the sub (use the Left side).
