Dead on each source. I tried an amp on the pre-outs and that is dead too (so problem is in pre-amp section, not the amp section). I guess I'll have to find a place that has the service manual for this thing. And I'll be without a system for a while... Bummer. |

Gold Member Username: Jan_b_vigneDallas, TX Post Number: 8943 Registered: May-04 | Fixed? For pooping? I hate to open this can o' worms but how is that done? And what happens once he can't p00p no more? I've been cleaning up dog p00p for twenty five + years. Now you tell me there's a way to stop him from pooping?! This I gotta hear. Please, don't say just make him p00p in the neighbor's yard. Did you know you can post "pooping" but not "p00p"? |

Gold Member Username: PetergalbraithRimouski, Quebec Canada Post Number: 1745 Registered: Feb-04 | I tried using the 6/8 channel direct input, and that works!. That input bypasses all digital/analog processing, so I guess that's where the bug is. Trying a system reset but that didn't help. Oh, and JV, please refrain from posting since you have absolutely nothing of value to contribute to this thread. Since you didn't understand my earlier subtle reply, let me spell it out for you. No, you don't fix a dog for pooping because it's acting properly, whereas a receiver dropping a channel is not. So your comparison to your dog was flawed to begin with, and well as being rude. |
Silver Member Username: My_rantzAustralia Post Number: 707 Registered: Nov-05 | You gotta admit Peter, receiver and retreiver is pretty close! :-) Have you tried the receiver's speaker calibration - do you get the white noise signal through that channel? |
Gold Member Username: Jan_b_vigneDallas, TX Post Number: 8946 Registered: May-04 | . The importance of either to anyone on this forum is identical. How rude of you to suggest otherwise. |
Gold Member Username: Jan_b_vigneDallas, TX Post Number: 8947 Registered: May-04 | . Just who would have anything of value to contribute to this thread? No one I can think of. Just what would be of value to the fact your receiver pooped out? "Pooped". Get it? . |
