Gold Member Username: NuckPost Number: 3582 Registered: Dec-04 | Again today I heard the 802D's. This time they were pushed with a little 100w Bryston with built in DAC's. The player was a Arcam 73, digital out. The little Bryston worked well with the 802's. These must be the best (mass made) speakers in the world. I have heard them now with Bryston sst6's in a theatre, this little one, and another little Linn kit. Again, for 16k cnd, these are the best speakers in the world. Kikmybutt. |

That link is either A; Horse Hooey B; Sent by a useless listener C; Horse Hooey The phase shift of the 802d is brutal.90 deg is not uncommon, and lacking the grunt to make them run(bear in mind the 500w ceiling here)would be(and I have heard it) just a total disservice to gear that would be best used elsewhere. |
