Saturday, July 22, 2006 - 04:38 GMT Hi all I'm trying to set up my Pioneer VSX-816k. I have my (cheap) DVD player hooked up to receiver via digital coax cable. With a dolby digital dvd, the dvd players detects Dolby digital, but the receiver only detects a digital input - no dolby. When I try manually setting up the input, I only get various dolby pro logic and neo options... I believe the cables are all hooked up right, from dvd digital out to the receiver digital coax input (1) (DVD/LD). Don't know hot to get it to detect dolby though.. anybody have any ideas? I've tried with various source DVDs, same problems
