The problem is the ribbon tweeters in the speakers, which can be a bit fatiguing. Rush: yes, I sure am! Heh heh! And I don't give pompous, one-note advice on room treatments to every single question under the sun either, unlike some people. (cough cough) |

Gold Member Username: Edster922Abubala, Ababala The Occupation Post Number: 4354 Registered: Mar-05 | maybe...but the BB listing seems to suggest that it's a passive subwoofer, which would be a scary proposition. I also wonder if it has any bass management when a sub is added or if the mains are still run full-range. |
Bronze Member Username: GamerdudeOntario Canada Post Number: 97 Registered: Apr-06 | well iw as at my local BB and it sounded great but this one have spring clips and i dont really no about bass management it was passive tho didnt sound too bad nice clean sound pretty loud too |
Gold Member Username: Edster922Abubala, Ababala The Occupation Post Number: 4363 Registered: Mar-05 | yeah, the spring clips are a bummer indeed. Personally I'd much rather pay less for the sub-less version, and shell out $150 for an Athena p4000 or $100 for a Dayton 10". |
