From speaker wire to jack plug

Hello

I'm a student trying to connect my dad's old speaker boxes to my PC. However, I've encountered a problem...

These old Hifi speakers are connected by ordinary speaker wire, and my soundcard that is fitted in my PC uses jack plugs...

My question is, how do I convert these speaker wires into jack plugs...

PS: please keep it simple, I don't know a lot about this subject :-)

You should probably put an amplifier between the sound card and the speakers.
