The connections are like a barrol with a hole in the center, right now I unscrew teh cap, slide the speaker cable in a hole and tighten the cap, but, is the hole in the center of the barrol for banana plugs? |

Again, usually I'd say it's more than likely to be 4mm banana sockets, but there are some screw-only type connections which look like banana sockets around.
