I have Wharfedale Diamond 900 speakers and Onkyo TX-SR600 receiver, not sure if this matters.

well i was lucky and got the samw40 sub for 99 at frys they were on clearance and for 99 dollars this sub kicks major butt.

frys is an electronics store they have down here in california, they were geting rid of all their sony merchandise and the sub was going for 99 dollars brand new, they also were selling the smf 600 sony floor standings for 160 bucks a pair which normally sell for 400 a pair too bad they were sold out for good
maybe best buy will follow the same path, if i find the swma40 at BB for 100 in the new future im getting 2, i want to of them anyway.

Sometimes Best Buy has that sub on sale for $100.

ive never seen that sub for 100 dollars, the lowest ive seen it for at best buy is 170
the 8 inch sub is 100 dollars, best buy sells the 12 inch for 200
