I have a plasma mounted on wall and want to know what are good slim speaker systems that can go on side of plasma. My room is kind of big 14x22x13 (13 foot ceiling). The budget is max $2500 for a 5.1 setup (speakers and sub only). My other option would be to go with floor standing Paradigm studio 100 combination which will end up costing twice as much.
I am going with Rotel Amp (1075) and Receiver (1068)

if you want on wall speakers, MartinLogan makes 2 excellent models, caled the Vignette and the Fresco.

the vignette is a 2-way while the fresco is a 3-way. The cost of these speakers are 700 each for the vignette and 990 each for the fresco.

MartinLogan looks good, I'll check out Tweater in my area. How full do the Fresco or Vignette sound compared to Paradigm Studio 20/40/etc. Remember my room is kind of large 14x22x13. The price will probably be over $3500 for these in a 5.1 setup.

Would I have to go with same for rear speakers.

What Sub would suite better?

Have a look at Totem's new Tribe speakers, I've heard them and they're great:

Alternatively, for a really neat look, have a look at Artison's Portraits - really nice solution and pretty good sound too:

martinlogan sounds different from paradigm, but I myself am a fan of them both. I strongly reccomend taking a look.

martinlogan is a step above paradigm in every possible direction concerning midrange and treble reproduction (leaving the signature series out of the picture), however, many people feel that the stat panel does not intergrate well with the woofer. The new models (clarity, vista, summit, and vantage) are outstanding in this reguard, having a very smooth transition.
