I have a Fisher Stereo Amplifier CA-270 that is not putting out any sound. When ever i had first hooked it up for the first time (it was my dads before) it played on both right and left speakers for a while and then the right side of speakers didn't work i checked my speakers and it wasn't them so i was like oh no big deal i still have my left speakers. Well recently i was listening to music and all of the sudden the left side of the speakers went out as well and i couldn't hear anything from them. Do you have any idea what the problem is? I know it isn't the speakers because they work fine with other things.
Has the amplifier been in storage for a while? How loudly were you playing when the speakers stopped? Why did you assume it was "no big deal" when you lost one channel of the amplifier and continued to play the amp?
yes the speaker was in storage for a while. I was playing the speakers about half blast when it stopped and i assumed it was no big deal because it was old and the other side of it still worked properly
I asked if the amplifier had been in storage, not the speakers. If one channel going out is no big deal, why is the other channel going out any bigger deal? What do you want to do?
