I went into a local Home Audio buyer/reseller today and was surprised to find a pair of Mitsubishi M-S200 Front Channel Tower Speakers. These things looked pretty big to me, which caught my eye in the first place. I asked the guy how much, $100(I dunno if that was for each one, or for the pair) and thought it a pretty nice deal either way.
I just wanted some feedback on these speakers. Here are the stats: ----------------------- 7" Polypropylene Woofer 1" Linen dome Tweetwe 48Hz - 20kHz Freq. Resp. 90 dB/W/m Sensitivity 8 Ohms Impedance rated for 75watts RMS(100 watts MAX) Magnetically Sheilded 2'11" high, 9" wide, 11 1/2" deep -------------------------------- Now, upon doing some more reasearch, I found that the speakers are part of a 5.1 surround sound package, but this store had only bought the front channel tower speakers. I haven't heard em yet, but just want to get an idea as to if they are worth my time. So, any input? I am kinda new to the speaker market. Is 48Hz low enough? Is 100watts plenty high(my receiver goes up to 100 watts anyways)? thanks all

ok, if anyone was wondering... I am going to buy the Fluance 5 surround speakers instead of 2 Mitsubishi towers.
