Amp and cd player for a b&w 802 series 80

Hello all,
I have a pair of B&W 802 series 80. I couldn't find a lot of information about this speakers in the web but, if im right, they are similar to the B&W 802 matrix s2.
I am thinking to get a NAD C-370 amp and a Marantz CD 6000.
Is this combo ok for the 802 series 80? what do you think?
All opinions and recomendations are welcome.

Hi Nad good morning.

I have the B&W 802, and found to my cost that they really need to be driven from a good quality HIGH POWER amp.

HAving originally used Marantz MA600 monoblocs, I was dissapoijnted with the sound.

I then borrowed a set of TAG McLaren amps at 250 watts per channel and the sound suddenly cam alive.

Be careful of not having enough power with this speaker.
