In my bedroom I listen to music/TV ONLY through headphones, no speakers. Since I'm looking for great stereo sound, I don't think I need to go into the world of 'home theater' multi channel receivers as you can't hear all the channels through headphones anyway. I currently have an Onkyo TX-8511 which works pretty well and then acquired a Marantz PM7200 but can't get that to work without using 'Sound Direct'. That limits my possibilities of tweaking the sound. What would you recommend as a good receiver/amp for use exclusively with headphones? |
