Swans = fowl. Frogs = amphibians. Is that a fair comparison?
OK, reading between the lines of Tim's response; it is clear he is saying he has no idea what Swan speakers sound like to you, in your room and with your gear. Obviously someone likes them or they wouldn't still be in business. Are they still in business? If they are still in business, don't buy any speaker you've not been able to audition. It is a proven fact (studies are in progress) that whatever you order without benefit of an audition will absolutely suck. Or, you will decide it's too much trouble to box then back up for return and then your life will suck.
