I guess no one has noticed the drivers (the Extremis and the WR125's) are the same units Tim uses in his speakers. And he charges lots less money. Canadian or USD.

Tim - You haven't said anything about how CES went for you. Any stories to tell?

A couple of representatives from a well known subwoofer retailer stopped by. When Myra was played they would not accept that there wasn't a sub in the room. They searched everywhere and once they accepted the reality of a dual 6" TL playing thunderous, deep bass they just looked down and shook their heads as they walked out of the room.

I noticed the resemblance right away, as well as the spec'd >2 driver, the ribbon looks familiar as well.
Gotta be more than one trout in the stream, no?

Good for you at CES Tim.

I have a pair of RAW HT1's (without the sonicap upgrade) on the way. While I was told this upgrade makes a massive difference in performance, it will be interesting to see/hear what this speaker is all about.

Just an update;

I have had the HT-1's in my home for a few days now. Build quality is, as expected, pretty top notch and solid. I am putting these up against the Focus 110's, which are absolute beasts for their range...

I will say this much, the HT1's are hanging in well...
