Posted on I've read in one review (audioreview.com) that they are basically the same aside from the price difference where the HTR is obviously cheaper.
Rxv models are exclusively for yamaha dealers whereas the HTR are from freelance dealers.
Quality wise, i.e., audio, performance & looks, they are the same
