I want anew receiver for my new stereo system, but I need to know something. Out of the brands of receivers listed, which one has the best Fm reception out of the pack?
FM reception is a function of the antenna, the location of the antenna and the station you are trying to pick up. There's a world of difference trying to get a clean signal from a station with lots of clean power when you are situated in a large city vs. pulling in a distant staion that is beyond a hill. Selectivity and sensitivity are virtually opposing specifications until you spend big dollars for a separate tuner and antenna. Most tuners in most receivers are simply mediocre.
No need to ask for more specifcs. They just don't exist. You will have to either look at the FM specs and hope they can give you an indication of what the tuners will do in a real world situation or try a few tuners in your location.
