Nad C340 transformer

i have blown the transformer on my Nad C340 by running it to hard for to long, i have been quoted £125 to get it repair. is it worth getting it repaired or should i spend the extra and buy a new amp. any thoughts

Depends if you like the amp or not, you certainly won't find a better one for £125.

I agree with tanned Elvis...hard to beat for 125.
And put a governor on the volume knob!
