New member Username: HoochamakoPost Number: 1 Registered: Jan-06 | I recently bought the Technics SLBD20D turntable online and I've had some problems getting volume out of my receiver. First I had a Sherwood, very basic model, and it was only when I maxed out the volume that it was listenable. Currently I have a Denon DRA-295, and I am having the same problem. When connected to my father's old old old Sansui receiver it sounds great. The only conclusion I could come to was that they lied to me when they said my receiver had a pre-amp. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. If you think that the pre-amp is the problem, then any suggestions on receivers between $250-350 that do have one would be most welcome. Thx. |
