I'm not at all tired of Edster. I think he's often one of the most civil and polite guys on this board. I appreciate his enthusiasm for said Panny. In fact, I even ordered one and had a good time with it for 30 days and the whole experience cost me 12 bucks.
Given his outright zeal for this piece of equipment I do think he's been rather restrained.
And hey. Lighten up a bit. Don't you find the Edster vs. ArtKyle bits sort of entertaining? I know I do.
Mark, where have you been? There hasn't been an Edster vs Art Kyle thing for some time. I have just watched as others have engaged him. Edster's general lack of knowledge and desire to degenerate every conversation into an insult flinging contest have left me cold. I like Eddie and enjoy our conversations on subjects other than audio but that's it.
I ain't got no quarrel with no VietCong...err..Eddie. I find Ed to be intelligent, well read and entertaining, so long as the topic doesn't come around to Panasonic audio equipment. His banter can be a bit much, but this IS an audio site, and typing is free.
Jeez, I don't always agree with Ed, but I do read his posts. Yes, he is obsessed with the Panny and recommends it for virtually every application. So what? Ed has found audio bliss. Isn't that what we all are trying to do?

the Panny stuff isn't getting old. It has been old for sometime.
Posting a new thread against a forum member is cheap. Low rent. Sure, things may heat up in the middle of a discussion, and I take blame for my Glenfiddich fuelled rants, to be sure. Even I find starting this thread reprehensible, boorish, unfair and distasteful, and will now let it die.

I might add, as a sidebar, that Ed had an issue that was taken up by TWilliams, I think. The issue was one of substance abuse, to which Eddie owned up and ultimatly, confronted.
The ability to aknowledge, and confront such an issue is commendable, and, in my experience, incomparable with other day to day issues, living minute to minute sometimes.
I would like to put Eddie's name in the 'attaboy' dept, not for his shallow and hollow depth of audio understanding, but for being a good(but misguided audio)guy.
Now shut down this thread!
