You can set up satilites in different listening zones only when the following conditions hold true
1. there should not be much obtrusion for the bass waves to travel through, like very thick walls.
2. the distance from the listner to the satilites and the sub should be aligned for time, else the transient response will not be good, thus you lose the feel of the music
I assume you mean the multi-zone/multisource capabilities of the lifestyle systems. If this is true then no you can not use the same sub for other rooms because the system will link the bass module to the main speakers and a separate set of powered speakers are needed for the 2nd zone. It has to be this way so the system can play different sources in different places at the same time. The 2nd zone does not have to be Bose speakers as long as they have their own power source.
