Today I was installing my old reliable sony DAC-S300 surround sound system in my new apartment. While plugging in one of the wires into my speaker I heard a spark flash from my receiver and smelled burning rubber. Now the audio doesnt work. It also stopped making the clicking noise when i turned on the receiver. Just wondering if anyone things it is worth taking it to a shop to see if they could fix it... or if anyone has had this problem with theirs (I'm hoping its just a fuse or something). It's almost five years old so I got my money out of it, and they are only going for about 100 on ebay at this point. Just upsets me that I have to replace but a whole new system when I already have the speakers set up.
