My Dual 1019 turntable runs slow - even with the pitch adjustment all the way to the +. Not WAY slow, but just enough to really annoy. I have not kept up on lubing the moving parts - I've been told this is likely my issue. Can anyone confirm? Obviously, there could be many other problems going on, but this seems like a good place to start - otherwise, mechanically and cosmetically the turntable is flawless. If anyone here has greased/lubed/WD40'ed their turntables to loosen up the grime, please let me know what you applied, and where you put it - I would be grateful. Or if there is a way to monkey the pitch control to get another 3-4% adjustment out of it - that would work too. Thanks in advance!
