Going nuts trying to find out if there exists a home theater receiver that will allow use of the subwoofer preout when the headphones are plugged in. It seems that the models I've looked at all automatically cancel out all speaker configurations including the subwoofer preout. The reason I want the subwoofer preout active while the headphones are in is that I think it would be really cool to also shake the couch with base shakers for the low freq effect (feel it anyway instead of hearing it). In such a manner I would be getting as close as possible to a full surround effect without keeping everyone else awake.
