hi just picked up one of these - the panasonic sl-h50bp-k. it plays too slow. do i need to replace the motor? is that expensive? can i do it myself? any help/suggestions appreciated as i am a novice. thanks!!
Replacing the motor is probably not going to solve your problem. The speed control is on a small board on the underside of the plinth. If you are a true novice and cannot troubleshoot the circuit, the best advice is to have the table serviced by a technician.

Hi -
I took the unit to a repair shop and the guy is asking $85 to repair it. Is this fair? the problem is that I spent $50.00 on the entire stereo (dual cass. deck/cd player/receiver/turntable)
