I was just wondering what Subwoofer Mode everyone was using for their S-650? It was my understanding that Mode 3 was appropriate when listening to DD/DTS as the subwoofer would then correctly be creating only the LFE channel. However, it seems that the amount of volume it kicks out is quite minimal at this setting. I toyed with turning up the volume dial and increasing its balance in the receiver, but I just wanted to get an idea if the problem would easily be remedied by just selecting either Subwoofer Mode 1 or 2. Thanks in advance for your replys.

I find using Subwoofer Mode 1 with a crossover frequency setting of 120 works best if you are using the speakers that come with the Onkyo System.
