Hi, I have a Nad 7140 reciever amp, 5240 cd player, Sonab 85 s turntable and Sonab OA 12 speakers. This system is getting on now but sounds great when running. I have to replace the drivers and get the cd transport looked at but not sure wherther to sell or keep?
any ideas, am I sitting on a really great system or is it pretty average?
If it ain't broke keep em`.However just because something is banged up a bit you throw em`away just the same .If the system in all it's years provided you with great musical satisfaction,you owe it primariry to yourself to have it checked for any depreciation in performance. Keep a keen eye on where the trouble may be as you have observed maybe a little cleaning or tweaking by your friendly audio repair outlet can bring back the savvy of your system.
