Thursday, October 13, 2005 - 01:24 GMT I really don't care what he says. I'm glad he enjoys his Maggie's (if he ever got his allowance and bought some). That's his choice and so is his flaming us. Most of us try to be informative in our own small ways and that often means that our preferences and biases show. For instance my bias against planar speakers or Paul B's preference for 1st order crossovers. In the end we will each make choices based on our preferences and budgets. So be it.

Monday, October 17, 2005 - 21:52 GMT OK, I thought Art didn't like planars, Gavin. Or, are you agreeing with Art about Art not wanting you guys to start anything with them, although I'm not sure what you guys were starting but, dang it, you'd better stop it right now. LOL

Monday, October 17, 2005 - 23:24 GMT Art, have you heard the Gallo Ref. 3? it has the Gallo CDT ( near-omnidirectional planar) tweeter, and has recieved rave reviews. I havent had the opportunity yet, but hopefully in the near future. From the reviews, the gallo is good with ALL types of music (moves some serious air), and doesn't suffer from the head in a vice sweet spot like most other planars, yet retains their speed and accuracy.

Tuesday, October 18, 2005 - 02:13 GMT No Gavin I haven't heard that one. Might be fun to hear. I'll have to look them up and find a place to hear them. Isn't the Northwest great (except the vast audio desert that Dave lives in). I can look up nearly any audio product and go listen to them usually within an hours driev from where I live.

Thursday, October 20, 2005 - 05:59 GMT Yeah, what Rantz said. That's just like my Mom's reasoning. "Cookie, there aren't any cookies." She was usually right because she eaten them. I see where this is going, Jan. You Texans all use the same ruse.
