Since the Tom weighs about double what a pair of Lings weigh I'm not sure about a "Tom Ring". If Jan would like to test one and report his impressions I'm up for it. The Tom is a sealed subwoofer. This design is intended to be a match for the Ling and Rosa speakers. It is tight and musical but doesn't go terribly low as you might want for a dedicated HT sub, however, I've watched The Incredibles for example, and was pleasently surprised at just how well Tom did with that soundtrack. |
